The College of Information Science and Technology at the Hainan University in Haikou, the capital of the Hainan province of China, is hosting NorNet Core’s second international site! This is the first non-European site for NorNet Core. International sites make it possible to examine and evaluate the connectivity of the Norwegian networks with other countries.
The new site is particularly also a cooperation with Hainan University to support research on multi-homed transport protocols, particularly the Concurrent Multipath Transfer extension for the Stream Control Transmission Protocol (CMT-SCTP) as well as Multi-Path TCP (MPTCP).
