Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2019!
2018 has been a very succesful year for NorNet. Further steps of the NorNet Core/MELODIC integration have been made. Using NorNet Core with OpenStack/MELODIC cloud systems will in the future make a much easier deployment of custom VMs with custom operating systems/kernels possible. Also, a NorNet Core user tutorial has again been organised at Hainan University in Haikou, Hainan, China.
In the coming year, we will continue to grow NorNet with some additional sites for NorNet Core as well as NorNet Edge. Furthermore, many more research results from the ongoing experiments, at Simula as well as by other researchers, are going to be published.
