Today, NorNet Core got its 21st site! The Department of E-Information of the Haikou College of Economics (海口经济学院, HKC) in Guilinyang, a town nearby Haikou, has set up this new site. It consists of four powerful servers, being connected to two different ISPs over fibre lines: China Telecom as well as China Education and Research Network (CERNET). The new site is NorNet Core’s second site in China: like the first site at the College of Information Science and Technology (CIST) at Hainan University (海南大学) in Haikou (海口), it is also located in the province of Hainan.
