The NorNet Core central site deployment has started now! That is, the server hardware is set up and the management software can be tested now. The central site, located at the Simula Research Laboratory in Fornebu, will host the complete NorNet Core management infrastructure. Particularly, this includes the MyPLC setup, the monitoring system, a file and backup server, research nodes and further NorNet-related services. With the initial management infrastructure in place, we can soon begin to deploy the NorNet hardware at external sites.
